Our new Screw Cap Adapter is offered as a rugged alternative to the factory pot-metal fuel cap.  Machined from a solid block of 6000 series aluminum, it’s practically indestructible.   With a raised filler neck and easy to grip cap, you’ll no longer struggle with splash-back or the need to constantly reset the fuel nozzle when topping off your bike.    Type-II, Class-II anodized to last for years to come.

    I don’t know how I didn’t hear about power cell before but this is one gorgeous piece of kit. The website showed an earlier one iteration and an email to the company confirmed the new model is lighter and lower profile now. Order was placed and order was quickly delivered. Install was about 20 minutes. Opening the tank now feels like unscrewing a piece of quality aviation gear rather than prying open the pot metal lid the bike comes with. Bonus is the overflow hose isn’t needed and you can clean up the bike if you want to remove the tank. Pair this with a canister delete kit and you’ll really clean up the engine compartment.

    Never understood the lock, bike would be stolen before someone would steal fuel out of it. Total pain in the butt taking the key off the bike, opening the fuel cap, take key back out because it hits the steering stabilizer and won’t let cap open fully. Now put key somewhere, fill up, put key back in to close the cap and finally take key out of the cap and put back in ignition.
    OR, OR; buy the fuel cap adaptor, i would also buy the pre filter that goes on the cap, turn it to open. Fill up, turn to close and be off. Very well made, comes with everything you need to install in under 10 minutes. My mosko tank bag still fits nicely on top of the tank.

    It’s fantastic! I wish I’d have gotten it before my 3k mile trip, but that’s on me.

    It works great to not have to fool with my Mosko handlebar bag. It’s also great to keep the floating trash away from your filler that’s under the stock cap. Definitely a must have.
